Open, measure and edit DWG, DXF, PDF and office files on your phone and tablet.
What it does
DWG OfficeZip is an offline viewer and measuring tool that opens DWG (R13 – 2018+), DXF and DGN (V7 and V8) drawings on Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad. Parsing happens on the device; your files are not sent anywhere unless you upload or share them yourself.

DWG, DXF and DGN (V7 and V8); layers, blocks, attributes, layouts, external references.
Measure
Length, area, angle, radius, coordinates — with endpoint and midpoint snapping.
GPS
Shows your position in the drawing's coordinate system (UTM / ITRF / ED50).
Live basemap
The drawing sits on the map at its real coordinates: OpenStreetMap, satellite imagery or your own WMS / XYZ layer. On site, GPS shows where you stand inside the drawing.
Coordinate system
Set the drawing's projection from an address, from the map or by picking the zone by hand: ITRF96 and ED50, 3° and 6° zones.
Region to PDF
Select any area of a PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint document and get it as a new PDF, a PNG or a clipboard image. In PDFs the text stays selectable.

Keyboard and mouse
With a keyboard and mouse on a tablet, DeX, Chromebook or iPad it works like desktop CAD: type commands directly and use function keys and mouse buttons the way you are used to.

A command line that understands familiar CAD command names and aliases.

The drawing viewer is the same on both platforms; these parts differ:
Android
Google Drive and your own WebDAV server. Open files from a file manager, an e-mail, a messaging app or the Share menu; saved files go to Download/DWGViewer. RAR archives. The free edition shows ads.
iPhone and iPad
Works with the Files app: open files from Files or the share sheet; saved files go to Files › On My iPhone (On My iPad) › DWG OfficeZip. No ads.
Plans
The app has four tiers. Paid plans are monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions: on Android they are bought through Google Play, on iPhone and iPad through the App Store, and you can cancel them at any time in your store account. What is DWG OfficeZip?
DWG OfficeZip is a CAD viewer and measuring app for Android phones and tablets, iPhone and iPad. It opens DWG, DXF and DGN drawings as well as PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, and works offline.
Can I open a DWG file on my phone for free?
Yes. The app is free to download, and opening, viewing and measuring DWG, DXF and DGN drawings are free. On Android the free edition shows ads; the iPhone and iPad app has no ads. Paid subscriptions add drawing, editing and saving.
Which DWG and DGN versions are supported?
DWG and DXF from R13 up to the 2018 format and later, and DGN V7 and V8. Layers, blocks, attributes, layouts and external references are shown.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Files are read on the device and are not uploaded anywhere. Only online features such as basemaps and address search need internet.
Can I measure length, area and angles on a drawing?
Yes. You can measure length, area, angle, radius and coordinates with endpoint and midpoint snapping.
Can I see my location on a drawing on site?
Yes. When the drawing's coordinate system is set (UTM, ITRF96 or ED50, 3° and 6° zones), the drawing sits on a map at its real coordinates and GPS shows where you stand inside the drawing.
Can I edit a DWG file and save it?
Yes, with the Premium plan: 2D drawing and editing, layers and properties, undo, and saving as DWG, DXF or DGN V7. The Super plan adds 3D drawing and editing, elevations and profiles, and OBJ / STL export.
Can I use it with a keyboard and mouse?
Yes. On a tablet, DeX, a Chromebook or an iPad with a keyboard and mouse, it works like desktop CAD: a command line that understands familiar CAD command names and aliases, function keys and mouse buttons.
Is it available for iPhone and iPad?
The Android app is on Google Play. The iPhone and iPad app is coming soon to the App Store.
Which languages does the app support?
Fifteen: Turkish, English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Vietnamese and Chinese. It follows the device language automatically.
Privacy and data
DWG OfficeZip has no server of its own; the files you open and the account you connect are kept only on your device.
